Asset Tagging

Safe guarding assets within an organisation is the same as guarding its future. Various types of tags are attached to computers and other equipment including machinery, insuring that they are not removed from site or alternatively removed only by authorised personnel.

When a tagged item passes through a doorway or out of a secure area an alarm would be raised and the article removed would be identified at a PC. Audible and visual notification can also be generated locally allowing for immediate response. In the case of laptops for example, each laptop can be tagged and assigned to a specific individual, so that only the individual to whom a laptop is assigned can remove it off site without causing an alarm.
